Diabetes mellitus refers to a group of diseases that affect how your body uses blood sugar (glucose). Diabetes is classified into type 1 diabetes and type 2 diabetes and each type requires different medications for treatment.
Type 2 Diabetes is an issue where your body makes enough Insulin, but is insensitive to it and therefore unable to control blood glucose levels.
Asthma is a chronic disorder that affects the lungs with the most common symptom being trouble breathing of varying degree. Several types of medications are used to treat asthma including steroids to reduce inflammations, anti-allergans, and quick-acting bronchodilators.
These medications can come in tablet form, as an inhalar, or be administered as an injection.
